Our dedicated volunteers work in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services to regularly monitor the water quality of Halfmoon Lake to ensure our residents' safety while recreating in our lake. Our volunteers also work to identify and track potential hazards to our lake quality including invasive species, fertilizers/phosphates, or other types of hazards. Due to these efforts, Halfmoon Lake offers excellent water quality for our residents to enjoy.
We would like to extend our thanks to Guy Leone, our current VLAP Coordinator, as well as Frank Bramante for the water testing they conduct on a regular basis on behalf of Halfmoon Lake residents. Halfmoon Lake Association (HMLA) is seeking one or two additional volunteers to assist with water testing. This testing occurs once a month during the summer months. We need volunteers like you to keep our lake stewardship program strong! Please contact Nina Kelly at HMLAPresident@outlook.com.
